my interview in merge magazine is
out and it's a pretty fun article.  far
from serious and stuffy like most
artist discussions, writer brian
donohoe makes it sarcastic and
readable.  the image to the right is
a link to the magazine - click on it,
then on "digital version".  my article
is on page 32.

i was the special guest speaker at an art salon dinner at bill lowe gallery in santa monica, co-hosted by
bill and l.a. designer/developer rob davis.  i gave a talk and answered questions about my work.
l.a.-based art writer shana nys dambrot also gave a short talk (and was forced to sit next to me.)  her
blog, along with her thoughts on the evening, is linked in the links page.  the food, which was
unbelievable, was provided by chef celestino drago, whose famous ristorante drago, incidentally,
currently displays my painting
movie kiss #2.  I am hoping to get some pictures of the evening, replete
with go-go dancers, and will post them when I do.
