November 14, 2019 Poet and/the Bench in Mill Valley, CA hosted Artful Conversation: Encountering the Unexpected. It was a wonderful evening of lively, intelligent conversation about culture, inspiration, food, art, memory, and about what you find when you're not looking. Chef Antionio Candelario of DeLaTerra Kitchen did not disappoint with delightful food, Jeffrey and Bonnie provided a great atmosphere and food for thought, and I spun a few tales of adventure and creativity myself. The guests were fun and curious and full of their own memories and insights. Thanks to all who attended, and to Bonnie and Jeffrey for putting on such an amazing event!

It is part of the new Negation Series, exploring the impact of others' expectations, biases, preconceptions, opinions, and desires on one's identity. Rather timely and topical given the importance of the #MeToo movement.

May 5 - June 16, 2012 Please check out the exciting new Random Acts of Time exhibition at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, curated by William Moreno. This show explores the influence of time on human endeavor. It's a fascinating theme, and one that I've exploring in my work over the last 5 years or so. The amazingly diverse interpretations by the many artists make for a compelling show. The opening reception is May 5, 6-10pm at the gallery in Santa Ana, and there is a second reception the evening of June 2.

November 2 - 27, 2011 Sandra Lee Gallery in San Francisco is featuring my work in the upcoming Allegories of the Human Figure exhibition, running the month of November. It highlights the paintings of five figurative artists, and the different effects of our various takes on the human body. I'll be showing several new works that have never before been exhibited. May 19 - 22, 2011 It's springtime again, and that means the San Francisco Fine Art Fair at Fort Mason. Three of my newest pieces will be featured there by the Sandra Lee Gallery. Over 60 international galleries and 400 artists, all right here at home by the Bay. Not to be missed.​

May 5 - 8, 2011 My New York dealer, Elisa Contemporary Art, is featuring my work at the New York Affordable Art Fair in Midtown, across from the Empire State Building. Lots of great work, all $10k or under.

December 1 - 30, 2010 Several of my small works will be featured at the Holiday Group Exhibition at Sandra Lee Gallery in the Union Square area of San Francisco. There will be a really fun opening party with food, wine, and music on December 9, 5-7:30 pm. (don't forget to rsvp!) All the work is affordable and gift-worthy - join us.

March 1, 2010 I am excited to announce that I've been nominated for the 2010 SECA Award, presented by SFMOMA. The award recognizes Bay Area Artists working at a high level of artistic maturity whose work has not yet received substantial recognition. Winners are featured in an exhibition at the museum. I am honored to be included, and am looking forward to the studio visits in the Fall, and the final announcement late this year.
