The Scatter Series grew out of a concept I've been chewing on for a
number of years, dealing with the influence on our lives of forces beyond
our control. The random dot patterns obscure the figures to varying
degrees, hinting at the fundamental forces and actions of others that impact
everything from our personalities to our successes and failures. Click

You'll notice that in most of these paintings, the random dot pattern exposes
